About us

Most brands are born into someone else's story. Chasing trends. Fighting for attention in a market that was never built for them.

Offculture is for the ones who want out. We don't help you compete. We build a category around a problem only you can solve, so you're not the better choice. You're the only one.

No comparisons. No compromises.

Then we give it form. The Creative Pass puts a full team behind you; designers, strategists, writers, motion artists, all moving at the speed you actually work.

A website. A pitch deck. A launch. Brief it in and it gets built. No bloated timelines. No limits. Most requests move in days, not weeks.

Our Philosophy

01

Conviction

Design is the last decision, not the first. Every logo, layout and line we make comes out of a position we've already argued for and agreed on. And we only take work where there's a real position to build. If the only opening is to be a slightly better version of what's already there, we'll say so early rather than blindly take the fee.

02

Clarity

Complicated language is usually a place to hide. If your strategy needs a glossary it won't survive your own sales team, let alone your market. We cut everything down until anyone can repeat it from memory, because that's the only way it travels further than the room it was made in.

03

Consistency

A category takes longer than a project. Launches drift, teams change, and the language gets watered down every time someone new repeats it. We build work that holds up and we stay to keep it sharp, which is why most of our relationships outlast the thing we were hired to do.

The Process

01

Find the Gap

Every market has a problem people have stopped complaining about. They've built workarounds. They assume it's just how things are. That silence is the opportunity, because a problem nobody has named is a problem nobody is solving. We study your market, talk to the people buying in it, and map what every competitor actually promises. Most of the time they promise the same thing in different shapes. The gap sits in what none of them mention, and we test whether it's big enough to build on before we go further.

02

Name the Category

A problem without a name stays invisible. People can't search for it, budget for it, or take it to their board. So they keep buying the old thing, because the old thing has a name and yours doesn't. We name the problem, name the category that solves it, and write the point of view behind both. Then we build the language around it, down to the handful of phrases your whole company repeats until the market repeats them back. Own the words and every competitor has to explain themselves using yours.

03

Own the Contrast

Being different only counts if people can see it in a second. A logo in a feed. A slide in a deck someone forwarded. That's the honest window you get. We build the whole system to win that second: identity, type, colour, motion, and the website, all built off the position so the design carries meaning instead of decoration. Anyone can copy a colour. Nobody can copy a point of view they don't hold.

04

Build the Belief

A category isn't real because you launched it. It's real when people use your words in rooms you're not in. Sales calls, procurement meetings, competitor pitch decks. We plan the launch, then arm the people most likely to spread it: your team, your best clients, the press who cover your space. And we stay after, because categories drift as they grow. Keeping the language sharp is how demand starts arriving instead of being chased.

We work across Gutmann Capital's portfolio rather than for a single brand. Branding, digital, social and print for the companies inside their investment arm, built to a standard that makes the competition feel like a distant second.

Finllect had the product but not the traction: credit scoring and personal finance tools for people the banks don't reach. We rebuilt the brand from the ground up. Users grew 10x in the period that followed, and a Sequoia backing came in shortly after.

Most podcasts look different on every platform they touch. We rebranded Capital&Qahwa and gave it a single design system that holds from thumbnail to clip to episode art, aimed squarely at the executive audience it's built for.

Two regions, one supplier, and materials that need to work in both. We rebuilt Dufast's brand assets across digital and print, so a distributor of branded building fasteners looks the same in Munich as it does in Dubai.
